The place had bed bugs. That is the only downside of my stay

I booked for 4 days in 312 room but , No one came to Clean the room and no House keeping staff for 4 days , But again I booked 10 days in the same hotel Room 612 that's very good and All days Housekeeping staff was there, Don't go for COZY , go for 1A albert, I'm suggesting to go to 601 to t612, That's very comfortable rooms

Made the best out of everything, was our birthday after all but wasn't entirely satisfied.

Clean bedding and sheets, towels were available and entertainment TV OK.

The cleanliness of the rooms and the quick response I received when I had an issue.

The fact we couldn't find the pool area.

This is a hoax. The so-called owners are conartist who lure non suspecting tourists into booking the place. Upon arrival you find that the place is in a gangster neighborhood with buildings ruins and graffiti on walls all around. There are druggies and hobos and gangsters. Neither tourist or their cars is safe there. By the properties own admission they said the streets are not safe and not to park in the street as my car would be broken in to. Furthermore the owners have this so called strict cancellation policy because they know its a hoax. As soon as tourist like myself arrive then it's clear you cannot stay there. By the owners own admission this is a "revolving neighbourhood". The property owners refused to let me cancel and they refuse to refund me. Booking.com did write to them to ask to wave the cancellation fees but the property ignored it. I wrote to Booking.com customer service and Booking.com didn't act to crackdown on these conartists. This place doesn't belong on Booking.com and should be banned to protect tourists. South Africa is a place where crime is rife and to expect of tourists to stay in a ghetto amongst gangsters is asking for trouble.
