Casa Julio-Rooftop Terrace & Pool 5 Min to Beach

Very spacious,clean and comfortable. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, allowing us a late check out, giving us lots of information about places to eat and providing the most generous welcome pack we’ve ever had.

The roads surrounding the property are very steep (but that’s the nature of the whole town of Carvoeiro) It wouldn’t stop us coming back again.

We had a wonderful stay, the host was waiting for us on arrival. He showed us around the apartment and we were given his number incase of any issues. We were provided with a wonderful welcome basket of goodies, and the accommodation was clean, comfy and very spacious. The pool area was nice and quiet and lots of options to use other pools. Would definitely return, and recommend.

Nothing to do with the accommodation. My parents just really struggled with the hills due to their bad knees. I wouldn’t recommend this property if you have difficulty walking up and down steep hills.

Clean tidy apartment. Near the village. The roof terrace lovely to watch the sunset. The welcome package was extremely generous and much appreciated.

No complaints

I don’t even know where to start with this. From the offset, everything was perfect. Andy was at the apartment when we arrived even though our flight had been delayed. The house had been stocked up with all of the essentials but also lovely treats like wines, beers and a fabulous fruit bowl. Ideal to have bread and butter and some chocolate biscuits on arrival after a late flight! I still can’t believe the generosity of Andy and Areta. The pool was perfect and it was in a quiet but convenient area. I loved that extra towels and beach towels were provided as well as extra toilet rolls. These simple little touches made the stay extra comfortable. I’m just slightly disappointed that the prices will likely go up for this absolute gem as the glowing reviews flood in. So well deserved though. Thank you again.

The beds were a tiny bit uncomfortable (but I’m like the girl in the Princess and the Pea so I expect they’re perfect for normal people). Oddly, there was no cloth in the kitchen so we bought some sponges. I imagine this was an oversight as the place had everything else you could possibly want. It might not be the best location for people with reduced mobility due to the hills. They’re unavoidable in Portugal though it seems and Uber is super cheap if you need a lift back up.

We loved the peace and quiet of the location but also the fact that it was only a 5 minute walk to lovely restaurants and the beach. It was comfortable, spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Andy was a great host and always responded to any queries immediately. The welcome pack of bread, wine, beer, eggs and fruit was very much appreciated! The rooftop terrace was a real bonus for sunbathing and doing my Qi Gong practice, it also had a barbecue.

Everything was perfect!

We absolutely loved everything about Andy's place. The check in was very smooth and Andy was there to show us the place. He had bought food and drinks, which meant that we didn't have to rush to go to the supermarket, everything we needed for breakfast was already there. The flat was very bright and spacious for 2 people. The place is also very clean. It had everything we needed, even beach towels. It was like hotel standards but staying in an apartment. The complex itself is high-standard, the common areas are very well maintained. Overall this was a fantastic stay. Thank you Andy :)

Beautiful spotlessly clean apartment in a quiet resort. So spacious and bright, overlooking the pool, with large balcony. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Andy the owner left us a fantastic welcome pack including wine and beers. Pool towels also supplied which was a big plus. Two bathrooms with toiletries . Carvoeiro is only five minute walk down the hill.

Nothing, just didn’t want to leave. will definitely be going back again.

Flat was extremely well equipped and comfortable - the welcome grocery pack was exceptional and covered all our needs for a good few days - Andy, the owner was there to meet us even though it was late in the evening and we were delayed - he was most helpful and happily undertook a couple of extra things before our arrival - the outside spaces were very functional and well furnished - would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone
