Casa Julio-Rooftop Terrace & Pool 5 Min to Beach

We enjoyed our holiday in this beautiful place in a very well equipped flat. We had a very attentive and friendly host!

The apartment was spotless, well equipped and in a perfect position to enjoy all the amenities in Carvoeiro. It was perfect for two couples. Andy was there to greet us and was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary arrival pack was absolutely wonderful and much appreciated. We have been coming to Carvoeiro for many years and have stayed in many places, but this is now our number 1. We have already booked to stay again.

I know it's a matter of personal preference, but the beds could be a little more comfortable

The apartment was spotless and much bigger than appears in photos. Andy left us a most generous welcome pack which was very much appreciated. The roof top terrace is really lovely but unfortunately quite a few days were too windy to use it. Although there are 12 apartments, only 4 or 5 were occupied while we were there so it was very quiet and relaxing and we had the pool mostly to ourselves. The location is great - only a very short walk downhill into the town where there are many good restaurants. Carvoeiro itself is still bustling in October and has a real sea-side feel about it.

A very small thing - the coffee machine is a Tassimo. Andy left us pods but, when we went to replace them, none of the nearby supermarkets sold them. Only place we eventually found them was in Apolonia in Lagao. We loved the coffee but perhaps a cafetiere might be a good idea?

Giving a great review will make it difficult to book. May be useful to know it is quite hilly.

The property was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Perfect for a family of 4. Andy was there to meet us, despite us being late due to airport queues. He had gone above and beyond with a tailored gluten free (my husband is celiac) welcome package. This was so thoughtful and so appreciated.

We loved the pool and the walk into town, the property is on a hill but we loved this as it was away from the busy nightlife in town. The pool was quite and clean, the pool side was kept clean and the other people using the pool were friendly. We would definitely want to come back to Casa Julio. We had a wonderful week and wish we were staying longer.

Spacious and Airy apartment. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and accommodated all our requirements. The rooftop terrace is a real added bonus. Great for family BBQ time and sundowners admiring the excellent view over Carvoeiro. The owners of the apartment were an absolute pleasure to deal with.
