Casa Maresia - Apartamento 2 quartos e piscina - Praia Carvoeiro

The property is in a good location, nice view and spacious but facility is quite basic. The first day we got in the apartment, very strong damp smell. We were told it’s been raining for the last few weeks. Then for the rest few nights we stayed, we all got some sort of insects bites, especially my daughter all over her face and arm, not very pleasant.

The location was good and the property was spotless on arrival. The hosts were very helpful with any queries that arose regarding the property. The log fire was a real bonus in the chilly evenings. We had the cleaner three times during our stay and she was excellent.

In the winter months perhaps a small dining table would be useful instead of eating at the breakfast bar. I appreciate that in summer the dining table in the sun lounge will be used.

Spacious place for family of 4. Very nice backyard. Many restaurants around with very good food. Close proximity to the beach and city center. Free parking near apartment, no need to reserve. Responsive and helpful host.

Very spacious apartment in a quiet area, the pool was amazing, perfect kids pool, lovely staff at the pool bar, close to shops, nice short walk downhill to the gorgeous town and beach. Bit of a hill back up though!

The beds were a bit hard, but we got used to them.

This two bed accommodation was spacious and perfectly located to the centre of town and the beach. We were welcomed with a bottle of water and red wine on arrival. We appreciated the handbook with all the necessary information that was left for us. The place was clean, well stocked with every thing you might need for your stay. Well equipped kitchen, washing machine, dry rack, iron, etc. The rooms were spacious and bed slept well. We loved the outside space to relax in after a day at the beach.

We loved everything about the property. Even enough parking space for the rental car.

Clean, comfortable, excellent location (very close to town/beach/walking trails,corner grocery store and bakery), quiet area, safe, access to pool area, and loved the sunroom and private back patio. The host replied promptly to any of our inquiries.

The comfort of facilities and the convenience of the location. Communication with owner was excellent.
