One bedroom lodge in the countryside

The location was perfect for where we needed to be. The hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed being shown the horses and told all about them. You can park right outside and there are no stairs to climb with your baggage.

Beautiful accommodation, extremely friendly hosts. Very comfortable and well equipped. Thanks for the welcome basket of food. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Very comfortable, good quiet location

Kitchen would be better with a cooker and microwave

The log burner was fantastic, very spacious inside and everything you could need when you're away from home. Made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return

Warm and cosy. Quiet location and central for Peak District. Close pub for good food.

Lovely quiet contryside location. Superb log burner which was all set up ready to light. Lovely touch providing milk, bagels, butter, marmalade and Jam.

The kitchen facilities are basic but did the trick for us

We found it very comfortable and was perfect for a couple of nights stay. Very welcoming hosts.

It is a working livery, so slightly noisy in the mornings. We knew this, so we didn't mind.

It’s a great layout with spacious open plan living area all on one level. It’s got enough room for my partner to move around using his wheeled walking aid. The shower is also roomy with smooth walls so we can use a suction grab handle for extra stability. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Everything is neatly organised for meal prep, and it was easy to cater. Hosts are very friendly and helpful too.

It would be nice to have a freezer compartment in the fridge; during hot weather it would have been good to keep freezer packs going for our cool box when out and about. This is a really minor thing though.
