One bedroom lodge in the countryside

Good location, friendly welcome, lovely warm, cosy accommodation. Little extras - bagels, eggs, milk and jams very much appreciated. Very helpful hosts.

We had a lovely stay the night of our engagement party, where we actually legally wed the morning of, and the hosts surprised us with some prosecco as a "congratulations!" which was absolutely lovely :) We didn't get a chance to drink it as we arrived really late and left early but it was a lovely gesture and we were left in peace the whole time.

I'm a light sleeper, so I woke with the horses first thing in the morning - if you're not bothered by this, you'll find a really comfortable peaceful stay. It would also be tricky to visit here without a taxi or car if you're not "big walkers" as it took us nearly 40 minutes from the pub The Swettenham Arms.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Very comfortable and clean accomodation.

A little difficult to find in a quiet rural location, but as the host suggested use of "what three words " rather than post code would have overcome this minor issue.

It was beautifully presented, large living space, bedroom and great bathroom.
