Cosy Spring Cottage at Pen Y Coed Hall

Super hospitable and very grateful! Everything was very clean, parking was clearly marked as per instructions, and a quiet location. I really enjoyed my stay. The perfect get away for 1-2 people.

Fantastic location. Facilities also really good. Much better than a hotel room. You have a spacious kitchen, lounge , bedroom & bathroom. I loved the breakfast offering with a lovely loaf with jams and butter, orange juice, milk, pastries. Property was really clean. Had quick WiFi.

Heating did take a while go get hot but there is plenty of blankets and a house coat. So not an issue to be honest.

Very cosy and well equipped. It felt like home.

When looking to book for my stay I searched for properties with a hot tub, on arrival the hot tub was emptied and not in use! I would expect if it is not available during certain periods that this is communicated, or the hosts would have made me aware on booking and given the option with regard to the booking this was very disappointing. Although when booking this type of property I wasn’t expecting breakfast to be provided, it was nice to find breakfast would be available, although items were available it was disappointing to find some of the pastries past their best before date, and the yogurts in the fridge past their use by date. The cottage its self is lovely, great location, very comfortable bed and would not hesitate booking again.

But was disappointed as had specifically put hot tub into my search criteria, I do think this should have been advised. Although I think value for money, there is other accommodation locally without a hot tub cheaper, had I have been aware I probably would have picked another location as did want this facility.

Spring Cottage is seperate to rest of the building and a different entrance. Quiet and calm. Great little place and super cosy. Definitely be back as I have before

Lovely location, quiet and peaceful, 10 minute walk to town. Everything I could need was in the cottage, enough breakfast for an extra week! Lovely hot shower, great kitchen facilities, cosy living room and comfy bed. Owners were very friendly and helpful, me and my dog had a lovely Christmas here.
