Whiteley's Cottages

Has everything we needed.

Felt a tad claustrophobic, the teeny, tiny spaces (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom) and lack of windows in the main living area left us feeling a bit cooped up. The undercover outdoor area was not much better.

We loved the location of the property. Personally, very close to family, but also tucked away in tranquility but also a short drive to Dumbarton high street. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was lovely and hot, and the kitchen was fully equipped with an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron/board, tea/coffee/sugar/milk, and all utensils we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful too.

I think the property had recently been refurbished, so whilst it is beautifully fresh and clean, we felt it didn’t quite have that ‘homely’ feel just yet, but no big deal!

Not in the centre of Dumbarton which was a bonus, everything that you needed home from home, parking in front of the accommodation, within easy reach of places we wanted to visit

The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us. Most of the places we wanted to visit were a short to medium drive away, with local shops and restaurants within easy reach. We highly recommend this cottage!

Fantastic

We liked all facilities. Having cooking facilities and a sofa with a tv that offered all the apps along with a separate dvd player was helpful. Location was great and near to main areas that we were interested in. Great that cleaning products and condiments available in cupboards.

Everything was great.
