Whiteley's Cottages

Lovely cosy cottage with lots of privacy. Quiet and comfortable, the cottage was well appointed with family needs and very clean. Our host was very attentive to our requests and accommodated us well. Good place to stay while going out to visit Loch Lomond attractions and regional towns

Excellent location, only minutes from town yet in a country location perfect. Cottage was very warm, cozy and clean.

Nothing to dislike, it was buetifull.

Almost complete, missing a coffee maker. Good starting point to visit Loch Lomond

No hiking opportunities from the location, living room quite dark

Whiteleys cottage was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable , the surrounding area and horses were so nice , my kids had a great time , it felt like home

The kitchen was well equipped. The location was rural but only a mile from the town.

The bedroom was very cramped and the bathroom was small.

Our first impression was the cleanliness of the cottage. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was a good size with everything that you needed to cook a main meal. The lounge had a good sized wall TV and comfortable settee. The cottage had a good shower room. The accommodation was set in a nice quiet area on a farm. Good location for visiting Loch Lomond.

We enjoyed our stay here, but feel that there could be some minor adjustments that could improve the property. A larger sturdy table which folds down with higher chairs. A couple more tea towels, and bath towels and a few more clothes hangers.

It was lovely and clean, cosy and had all the amenities we needed. Great little cottage.

Everything was good. Maybe only one small criticism would be the outdoor furniture (directly outside the door) could maybe do with a bit of TLC - Like I said only a minor thing.

Bathroom was very small. Cottage was rather dark. Only a roof window in the living room. Furnishing was sparse.

Location was great, kitchen well equipped. Everything needed for a couple of nights stay. Lovely and quiet. Good base to explore Loch Lomond, Dumbarton, Helensburgh, used the local park and ride to get to Glasgow for a day trip.

No window (other that skylight) in the sitting room, walls were quite bare - no pictures on the walls in the sitting room (despite being listed in the itinerary). Would suggest; adding some pictures to make more 'homely', more information about surrounding area in the welcome pack, updating the welcome pack, replacing the poor quality table and plastic chairs (kept in the bedroom) to eat off, and adding a side table/coffee table to put a cup on when sat on the sofa.
