Loch Lomond Apartments

Alles in allem haben wir uns dennoch wohlgefühlt im grossen Zimmer, welches zum Glück nicht gegen die Strasse lag. Bett war bequem und sauber, WC und Dusche funktionierten gut, es wurde geheizt. Check-In unkompliziert.

Der Zustand des Wohnhauses, im besonderen das dreckige Treppenhaus und die Lage an der starken befahrenen Strasse lässt einem erst erschaudern. Im Zimmer sind die Vorhänge defekt, Fenster schmutzig. Mit wenig Aufwand liesse sich mehr daraus zu machen.

The shower worked OK until it ran cold.

I would be ashamed to let this room out. The floor was laminate and look liked it had never been mopped judging by the amount of different shoe prints. The blind and curtain rail were broken so you had no privacy at night. Also got woken up about 6am by the daylight. There were hairs on the toilet. The inside of the shower door had never been cleaned. The extractor fan in shower room didn't work. The room was never serviced so used up all of the 3 coffee's and milk on day one . The kettle leaked. These rooms were above an Indian restaurant which was fine but there were rat droppings on the communal staircase leading uo to the rooms.. I'm not even sure if the duvet cover was washed because there were crumbs under the throw on the bed. This place needs a bit of DIY and a cleaner who does a proper job.

The location was perfect

We were under the impression that it was a whole apartment, what we actually got was a room with a bathroom. There were no kitchen facilities or sitting room. The property emailed us a code for the key lock box which didn't work the keys were actually left under the mat which we didn't feel safe with so when we went out we locked the keys to the other rooms inside the room to which the property owner rang us at a funeral to tell us that someone else had rented the "apartment" and need a set of keys and asked us to return to the property to leave them under the mat.

Possibly the bed, if it was clean The internet did work.

This was a uniquely bad experience. We stayed both nights to prove to ourselves we could, like an SAS survival camp experience. Fortunately we brought our own single bed, as we booked one adult and two children and it turns out there is a just a king sized bed.

nice Indian restaurant underneath the apartments,

the apartment wasn't very clean, stains on the bedding, no heating, no hot water. not a lot more to say,

Had to wait to get my room. I been told on reception that they short of staff. Shower broken, only hot water available, went to reception at night no one coul resolve a problem
