Fifty Five on Gilmour Street

Lovely central setting in the village, looking out over the green. Only 20 mins drive from Glasgow city centre. Clean and comfortable cottage with nice and bright interior. Super comfortable extra large double bed. Owner was in contact with us in case of any questions. Would definitely book again!

Good location with park across the road, shop very near, comfortable and well equipped flat with garden.

Size and location was perfect for us and the apartment was clean and had everything we needed.

Nothing really but if I was being really picky the parking was occasionally a challenge with visitors cars making it impossible to park in the designated space.

Sofa bed not very comfortable. No instruction folder for appliances ie shower. This was remedied following a telephone call to the owner.

This is a tastefully modern decorated apartment situated in a quiet village with lovely walks. Parking is available. Perfect oasis after busy days. Graham is a star. He contacted us before arrival, offering to give us a tour of the property and went out of his way to find a beloved toy!

Absolutely bloody fabulous!! LOVE the place. Its in a great location. It was super clean and tidy. Very modern with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others. Really enjoyed our stay. We were able to do things near by with ease. Or were able to jump in the car and and drive to Glasgow within half an hour which is ideal. We Felt really safe and comfy there as two females travelling together. Its a peaceful and secure place. With ideal storage capacity. Our only struggle was the knack of the secure key box outside. However the owner does offer to meet you there if you prefer. Go stay you'll love it. I was also very happy to meet the neighbour and his puppy he was a lovely man. The garden is a nice big open space with a view of the church whos bells can be heard at certain points but not enough to disturb you. Hopefully I'll be in Glasgow again so I can stay here. I wouldn't bother looking for anywhere else if I was going self catering. (a freezer even a small one would be a great addition) .

Really dont like putting negative in about this place..but after careful consideration Only two things were, a strong smell of-like a damp type smell in front room/kitchen area but once in for a few minutes you don't notice it. Also settee arms smelt like a musty man smell/odour. So maybe just needs a steam clean. Thats all! it really is a gem of a place. Dont let anything put you off.
