Convenient for major roads. Nice park setting. Good pub The Swann and cafe locally. Near the whitelee windfarm, it's great for dog walks. Light and warm. Freshly decorated. Felt safe and secure. Plenty of on street parking.

Outside looks unloved. Some road noise, quiet at night.

Perfect little apartment, really clean and with a giant comfortable bed. Great communication from the host. Situated in a lovely area with nice parks and dog walking areas. Would also recommend the swan Inn around the corner which serves delicious food and is dog friendly!

"Be cautious about booking this place...."

1.0

I felt very uncomfortable around the owner. On arrival he spent a long time showing me around lots of self-explanatory things, such as shutting roller blinds, wooden shutters and curtains. This made me feel uncomfortable. He did not have the keys and said he brought the wrong ones. Rather than go and get the right ones as he seemed to be local, he said he would leave the apartment door and building door unlocked and the keys would be on the table for my return in the evening at 7pm. I could not unpack anything or leave luggage as it was unable to be secured despite the owner saying it was a safe area. Returned and no keys. Texted the owner and he said the apartment is open. I waited at the entrance. Assumed he would give me the keys and leave but he said "I told you the apartment was open to wait inside." He then sort of escorted me inside rather than hand me the keys and leave me be. He then went around the apartment again showing me how the shutters, roller blind and curtains work before showing me a map on his wall and saying he would be at the Swan pub in 30 minutes time. I felt really uncomfortable and vulnerable. I did not feel safe. I was actually scared that something might happen. Perhaps he was being friendly in his opinion but this was just odd behaviour and I did not have a good feeling. He sort of hung around on both occasions far longer than a host typically would have. His page states he has a key box for handing over the key. This is not the case. He meets you in person, and asks you to leave the keys on the table and the apartment open on checking out. I don't mind meeting owners and being shown around but his manner and conduct was too familiar and made me uncomfortable with the repeated closing of the blinds, shutters, curtains and failing to give me the keys on 2 occasions. After contacting booking.com I managed to source alternative accommodation and left immediately at around 10pm.

"So pleased I found this place, will hopefully go back."

Really lovely village and great apartment with parking and dog friendly. Good Wi-Fi for working from home. Nice and quiet and blackout blinds in bedroom. Clean and spacious and kindly gave me a late checkout.

Little bit pricey. Could do with some washing up stuff being provided.

"Spacious self catering near Glasgow, always improving"

10.0

Second stay here and this accommodation is always being improved by the host. Last time I mentioned that there needed to be mirrors in the bathroom for anyone who hadn't brought one, now there are two! Also there are now good blinds behind the curtains in the bedroom so nobody would be disturbed by the sun in the morning. Bed and sofa bed both very comfortable so excellent night's sleep, and the kitchen with microwave, cooker, cutlery and washing machine makes it a far better choice than a cramped hotel. Lots of space in this apartment! Also very clean, which is in contrast to hotels I have recently stayed in.

Everything fine.

"Comfortable, good condition and location for my needs."

8.0

Location was good for me as I needed to be close to Busby. Good parking and property nicely fitted out with all the needs for a self contained stay. Nicely fitted out kitchen and all equipment worked well. Comfortable lounge area and good size large double bed.

Towel rail in bathroom is loose.
