The South Maybury Residence

Beds were super comfortable. Flat was good size being the living room very cozy. Very easy to get to airport and Edinburgh by tramp. It was a proper flat, not a small one.

Did receive many more messages than i had ever receive for any other accomodation on both booking app and email, making it a bit overwhelming. Despite all the messages exchanged, did not receive any solution to an earlier arrival to the location or to the possibility to keep luggage a bit longer on the checkout. Had to pay deposit fee for any possible damages which is the first time in booking having to do so; not too bother about the fee, more bothered about the fact that the conditions made clear that the booking would get cancelled if this fee wasn't paid a week before the arrival, and i was lucky to spot the message between all the rest. Despite all the messages, still had to communicate on the day and moment of arrival with a contact from the flat, who was quite nice i have to admit, but did not get the code to get the keys until i was in front of it, and i m glad she was responsive on whats app exactly on that moment, if not, we would have had to stay outside waiting for an answer. Flat had tea, coffee and that's it. Soap was far from enough for 4 people for 3 days, with the money that is asked for, i am sure it could have been bought a 2£ big soap bottle from poundland. Location is not great for the money that it did cost to stay here.

Nice apartment, very clean and everything you need for a break. Close to train station, 10 minutes to Waverly Station.

A bit noisy with road close by. Quieter on Saturday morning so if you are a light sleeper may not suit. We stayed for 3 nights so extra towels would have been nice.

We where given wrong pincode , late instructions as to the properties apt no, proper pincode, took is one jour to get inte apt. no owen gloves, wineglasses, scissors, couldn’t lock the door using the mortice lock from the outside.
