Queen Street Boutique Suites

The property was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Its location is excellent, being close to the city centre and within walking distance of many attractions. We also appreciated the luggage storage option, which was very convenient as we arrived before check-in time. The host was extremely accommodating, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. As a lovely touch, we were welcomed with a gift upon arrival, which made us feel very welcome.

Nothing significant to complain about. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

This property has SO much potential. It’s has a beautiful entrance and winding stair case. The room was spacious. Had a full kitchenette and washer/dryer. The owners were quite responsive via email. Location is steps away from princess street, able to walk to the royal mile In no time. Beautiful bathroom (but drains stink). They don’t offer keeping bags post check out but once I emailed them they offered to store them in a random cleaning closet.

This property has the foundation to be a wonderful stay. It has a Beautiful entrance, structure and great trim details, but this place is Dirty. Bare minimum, the place needs a fresh repaint. I understand it’s an older building but the white walls and trim really need a good clean. The carpet also needs to be changed, I don’t think a Hoover will get the dirt out at this point. The pull out couches were falling apart and SO uncomfortable to sleep on. The mattress was yellow and had stains. The double bed mattress was laying on top of plywood. Although the owners had mentioned the noise being out of their control, you really can hear every car and human that passes by. Upon booking this, the owners have additional rules and steps to follow to complete this booking. Your confirmation from booking.con isn’t enough to access this place AND you have to pay an extra 300£ in “damage deposit”, which is not through booking.com. The furniture is so cheap, there’s not even 300£ worth of stuff in the room. Read the fine print about what this place offers, and the extra steps needed to follow.

Bonne literie et chambre spacieuse

The fact that it was secure, instructions were thorough, adequate room for sleeping, ideal for a city break where you need somewhere to change and rest. Definitely will be hoping to book there again if and when I return to Edinburgh
