The apartment was spacious enough for our family of three and worked very well for travelling with children. The bathroom was very well finished and decorated, and the kitchen area was adequately equipped for cooking, with plenty of utensils, plates, bowls, pans, a drying towel, washing-up liquid, a coffee pod machine and a toaster. The apartment was clean and tidy, and the sofa bed was easy to unfold. The extra pillows, duvet and bedding were neatly prepared. The cookies left in a gift box were a lovely touch that the children really enjoyed. When we stayed there, it was not noisy during the evenings and nights. The location was excellent, close to the New Town area and around a 10–15 minute walk from both the train station and major attractions such as Scott Monument. It made a great base for exploring Edinburgh with children.

Only a couple of minor points. One of the non-stick frying pans was quite worn and scratched, although the stainless steel pans were perfectly fine. Our apartment was on the second floor, which meant carrying luggage and shopping up quite a few stairs. This wasn't a major issue for us, but it may be worth noting for guests with mobility concerns.

The location was excellent and in walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go, along with accessible public transport stops nearby. The property was a perfect size for my two sisters and I, and the beds and sofa bed were comfortable. There was plenty of room for luggage and the complementary products provided were lovely! We arrived early at 9am and the room was ready to check in at 11am which we greatly appreciated! I would definitely recommend and return here if I was coming back to Edinburgh
