Beautiful, Traditional 2 Bedroom Main Door Flat

Everything was beautifully clean and organised. There was plenty of space and most things you needed .flat walkable to the city centre but trams were also very convenient .

The accommodation was very spacious, bright and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for a stay with family. The booklet from the hosts was helpful. The location is great. Leith is away from the main tourist areas but is well-connected and feels more local.

The ensuite uses a sani-flo system so it's quite noisy even if you just wash your hands. It was also a little smelly- not sure if it's to do with the sani-flo system but it's fine with the door closed.

Really large, very nice, very clean appartment. Very well equipped. Rooms were comfortable, large kitchen with everything we needed, we fell like at home. Neighborhood is calm and safe. Easily reachable public transport. We would definitely come again.

Lovely place with a great lounge, spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and good facilities. The area is really lively with a lot of drinking/dining options within a few minutes walk and the Balfour Street tram stop lets you take the tram into the centre of town in about 10 minutes.

Located in the wonderful neighborhood of Leith, this flat is very spacious and comfortable and beautifully appointed. The huge kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal including a full spice rack and a nice round table to enjoy our meals. The main bedroom was massive with a full walk in closet and chests of drawers and a desk, ideal for a longer stay or working remotely. The two bathrooms are compact but modern and functional. The living room has a large L shaped sofa and a Smart TV and was a welcome sight after a full day of cycling or sightseeing. The Leith neighborhood is vibrant with many cafes, pubs and restaurants, and the hosts provided an amazing and personalized insider guide to Edinburgh with wonderful recommendations on where to go, including restaurants, and what to see. We enjoyed strolling Leith Walk and the Harbor area and we did a ride through the Portobello neighborhood along the beachfront on spectacular warm day and we were amazed by the coastline and the Esplanade full of outdoor cafes. Arthur’s Seat, good for picnics and hiking or cycling, gave us some special views of Edinburgh and is accessible by foot from the flat. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh. We only regret we couldn’t stay longer!

Great place to stay and the hosts were very helpful. We would stay again. It was close to a very good restaurant called The Remedy, which we ate at for breakfast on two mornings.

It had a washer and dryer, but if you are expecting an American dryer, you would be disappointed. Best to hang your clothes to dry or not wash anything at all.

It's I a good location, lots of pubs and places to eat close by and only around 2 mile walk upto the castle. Master bedroom, walkin closet and bathroom are a good size, kitchen is well enough equipped. The place was warm and tisy, no noise from upstairs or outside of an evening and we were there on a weekend.

The second bedroom and bathroom are. In my opinion, more for a child or teenager as you can only get out of 1 side of the bed, the only place to hang clothes was afew hooks on the back of the door. In the bathroom the toilet is a tight squeeze down the side of the bath and the dink is tiny, hard to get a wash in. Very hard to dry yourself in. Definitely wouldn't fit if you're of larger build.
