Royal Mile Apartment Excellent Location 3rd Floor No Lift

The host is super nice! very helpful and gave lots of information. I like the location of the property. walking distance to everything and lots of good places and shops nearby.

There was something about it…the smell…I’m not so sure what it is but my nose just couldn’t handle it. I think the property is so old that it might have been that. it was a strong smell soon as we walked in. I had to buy a scented candle to light up at night just to help with the smell and I constantly spraying air freshener when inside. the hot washer that you have to press was ok, on our last night seems to have ran out of hot water much faster so had to rush out showering. These minor details about the house but overall good stay.

Nothing Everything was perfect

Very tidy and lovely flat equipped with everything you need. Zandra is very nice and gives recommendations we can check within the city. We received all necessary instructions beforehand. She is thoughtful - we had cakes, tea, coffee and milk. She also allowed us to drop off our luggage before check in time and store our luggage after check out which we really appreciate. The location is great - so close to all the local attractions within Edinburgh. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

Proximity to the old city center. The place was very clean, cozy, with all the necessities. The host was so lovely and helpful. We managed to park the car just in front of the building. It is free during nighttime, and in the morning we moved it accros the street to Radisson Blu’s private parking, which was very convenient.

Excelent flat and perfect for a stay in the center of Edinburgh! Our hostess was very kind and attentive to our needs all the time. The location is great four touristing, it has grocery stores nearby, and it's close to the train station (10 min walk), the apartment is very comfortable and has everything you might need. We would definitely recommend!

The moment I entered the building, there was no light on the stairway which made me feel very unsafe going to the third floor. It was difficult for parents to reach the flat in dark. After entering the flat, there were so many flowers that triggered my allergy and because of those flowers, there was an odour in the apartment. Because of the bad smell, my wife decided to open living area windows. That window fell on her head and she got a bump on her head which spoiled her whole trip. I called the owner and told her everything and she was apologetic for the whole incident and offered me a refund of 100£ which I still haven't received.
