Royal Mile Apartment Excellent Location 3rd Floor No Lift

The flat's location is very comfortable. The flat is clean and well equipped. Communication with staff is quick, well-supported.

Lots of stairs! But worth it for location!!

The location is easy to find and it is close to the train station. There are many bars and restaurants nearby and was surrounded by many tourist spots. Very convenient for tourists. The apartment was well equipped with different types of shampoos and shower gel and the host even provided us with adaptor socket and maps. The host was extremely nice and friendly in answering all our questions.

Location couldn't have been better - right on the Royal Mile in the city centre. Nevertheless it was very quiet. Flat very well equipped and comfortable.

Nothing really to dislike - the stairs would be a problem for someone with mobility issues.

Very good location-it's above shops on the lower part of the royal mile. Easy access to shops and tourist attractions. Reasonably well equipped kitchen (be aware there is no oven) and toiletries included. Good instructions of how to find apartment from the host with included photos. Very reasonable price given how close it is to the centre. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Quiet location- windows have secondary glazing so there is minimal noise. There is a building site right behind the apartment (we knew this in advance) but the windows blocked out a lot of the noise so it didnt wake us up (they start at 8am)

To get hot water you need to press a boost button an hour prior to needing it. This it only heats enough water for one person to have a 10 min shower and you also have to remember to press it before you want to do washing up. No check-out instructions provided. No introductory booklet within apartment-had to keep referring back to original email received which made it difficult to do things like connecting to the wifi. To get to the apartment you have to go down an alleyway to behind the shops then up two external staircases then into a building and up two more internal staircases. It feels a bit dodgy but stick with it as the apartment is lovely. The external stairs are a little steep especially with bags so I wouldn't recommend bringing big suitcases.

The location was awesome. Just going out and see the Royal Mile. The communication with the hostess was amazing. She gave us all kind of information and was very worried so we can have a comfortable staying. Also, for the welcome she left us some chocolates. Was very kind.

The stairs. With luggage (heavy) can be a little bit complicated. For us, took a little time to get there, but it wasn't that much problem.
