Very well equipped so you can easily cater for yourself. A good quality conversion. It is a character basement property so not a great deal of natural light. The lounge area is a good size. All in all an excellent base for a visit to Edinburgh. The surrounding area is very quiet and there are some good pubs and restaurants nearby.

Cosy basement flat in great quiet residential location. Nicely decorated. Well equipped kitchen. Light switch on bathroom mirror for low lighting. 5-10 minute walk up to St Andrew Square/East end of Princes Street. On no 8 bus route. Tram stop on York Place. Nice restaurants nearby.

Shower can be a bit temperamental and it wasn’t a huge issue at this time of year but we couldn’t work out the heating system or find any instructions. Having to buy toilet rolls during our x3 night stay !

"A whirlwind week of study in very comfortable lodgings"

Location was perfect for a 20 min walk to the RBGE and Science block and also into city. Everything inside was very comfortable and of good quality.

There was very little not to like but if anything, it was a little dark on the inside so lights had to be used most of the time.
