Great location. Comfortable layout. Well appointed kitchen

Picking up the keys st the train station is annoying when arriving by car.

5 star - the location. Very close to the city. Waverly Station is within a few minutes walk. Very convenient location once you find your bearings. 4 star - the accommodation. Its size is just nice for a group of 3-4, especially when you are on holiday and don't spend too much time inside. The washer/dryer helps a lot coz we travel light. Caution - families with small children and lots of luggage may find it challenging as the stairs were narrow and rather dark.

3 star - check in process. We had to collect keys from Waverley. A bit of a hassle as we did not come by train. Also we just arrived in Edinburgh and yet to find our bearings but had to quickly find the station. 1 star - support from the staff especially re parking. The initial communication was superb, very welcoming. But we had a problem with the parking - a car was already parked in our spot. We contacted the staff a few times but the issue was not resolved until we leave. We had to park our car by the roadside which was a gamble as it was a rental. We chose this accommodation mainly for the parking but turned out bad.

The location was excellent. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent. Very clean.

Lamps in living room and master bedroom were in need of repair. 4 story walk up with no elevator. Beds were saggy. Door to 2nd bedroom did not close properly.

The size of the apartment was reasonable, but images on site made it seem much larger. You should explain that there is no access to the upper area. But we enjoyed it because it was self-catering

Very cold building. Storage heaters did not take chill out air and had to put on gas heater, which unfortunately for me and another puts us to sleep. Be aware steps up to flat are steep. Boost heating didn't seem effective.

A lovely large apartment in great location. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, soft white towels and good linens, quiet area. Great to have parking in a secure garage at such central location. Good communication with management company.

Collecting the keys from the train station was a bit tricky because parking is difficult also there was a very long queue and you also have to drop the keys back at the train station. A key safe is easier. No microwave and no extractor fan in kitchen area.

Didn't get told which flat it was before arriving, had to ring up while outside the complex. Some items not working eg lights and TV remote
