West Bow Apartment

It was in a convenient location and, being at the back of the building, extremely quiet.

That it came with an additional £90 cleaning fee, a £250 breakages deposit and on top, all that had to be paid 6w in advance.

For the location, which is right at the heart of the old town with many attractions nearby, this was value for money! We barely had to take any public transport to the places we wanted to visit. Very spacious apartment and one of the two bedrooms had a large king size bed. Living room was huge and spacious too. We had nice views from the windows, and it was very peaceful and quiet for a good night’s sleep.

This isn’t meant as a negative comment since we did choose an apartment situated at an old town, but thought this might be useful for others - It was quite high up (4th floor if I recall correctly), and was accessed through a spiral staircase which meant we had to climb several flight of stairs with our luggages. And because the old town is set on a hill of sorts, the rooms are slightly inclined so it does make you feel off-balance, but we quickly got used to it afterwards. One other reviewer said that they had to sleep facing their feet toward the headboard because of the incline, and we found that tip helpful for a more comfortable sleep.

Large in size

Most things did not work properly in the kitchen, response time was terrible , beds were hard as rocks stained comforters the pull out couch did not have a mattress was on the third floor no elevator

Very well equipped, clean, comfortable, perfect location for us. We enjoyed the restaurant underneath.

Location was absolutely in the middle of everything. Apartment was quiet.

Up 3 flights of stairs. Only provides one roll of toilet paper. Charges a cleaning fee but makes you take out your own garbage. When I arrived the previous occupant’s garbage was left there and it smelt like old garbage, I ended up having to take their old garbage out. Cleanliness could be better. Expensive for what you get.

Great location and spacious apartment with good wifi and amenities (full kitchen, washing machine, etc).

Some cleaning items were missed when we arrived and we had to coordinate with the hosts to address them. It was a bit inconvenient but the hosts were able to address it relatively quickly.

Very central to everything. On third floor so steps all the way. Beds comfy.....floors sloping which was fun due to date of property I assume? Clean and everything what we needed was there. Towels were provided which was a bonus. Smashing apartment.
