JOIVY Sophisticated Apt near Edinburgh Castle

Location was very convenient, close to town and train station. The apartment was very spacious and facilities all clean and ready to be used.

The property was on first floor and there was no elevator. We were told to bring out the trash on the final day for check-out. Other than that everything was perfect.

Fantastic location and a comfortable, spacious apartment. The beds were particularly comfy. Initial communication was good but we didn't receive the instructions for accessing the main building and had to rely on a resident to let us in so we could retrieve the apartment keys.

This place is in need of a bit of a refresh. Several things were broken: the kitchen door handle kept falling off, the shower door was broken, the lean-to open wardrobe in one room had come away from the wall, the TV remote barely worked, several wine glasses were cracked and unusable, and the microwave gave off an odd smell when in use. Although generally clean, some surfaces were quite dusty and there were large cobwebs in the corners of some rooms.

the problem is that for an apartment that has four rooms, i.e. they can sleep eight people. We were in the case of four, there was only one bathroom and it was so noisy in the apartment, you can hear every single move, even a phone, a cup being made, you could hear it, imagine for what noise was an issue, the room on the street side was extremely noisy from people passing through the whole night extremely noisy noisy

I also want to say that there is carpet in the rooms which I don't know how to clean But it smells so dirty In my opinion so much and curry there is so much dust there that just by closing the window to not hear the noise you are breathing so much dirty air inside that I just don't know a combination with the toilet. I don't know if I'm satisfied at all

Location was perfect for the visit. Information was clear for us ahead of arrival and leaving including instructions for apartment's equipment. The apartment was spacious, light, clean and comfortable for all our stay.

Fantastic location could not be any better for being in the heart of the city. The apartment was clean, spacious and modern. Being february Edinburgh is not the warmest but the accommodation was toasty and welcoming. The management team were also in constant contact before arrival and were on hand if needed during the stay.

The location and size of the flat was great! Staff were quick to help when the toilet flush was poor. Out within a few hours. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Cleanliness was good except for the bed throws which were dirty. The noise from the street with the single glazing was very loud especially with the party goers at 3.30am both nights. Could also do with curtains in the front lounge and another bathroom or two, en-suites where possible would help.
