Heritage City - The Auld Pottery

Self contained, reasonably equipped kitchen for a short stay.

The shower drained very slowly, the heating wasn’t very effective and the property was photographed very cleverly, it didn’t show the busy road that passed very close, quite noisy at night.

Extremely cosy with everything you need for a stay in Edinburgh. The bedroom is very special with windows all around the external perimeter and a little nice terrace. Bed very comfortable. Excellent location (less than 20 min walking from the royal mile) and an excellent provision of cafes and restaurants. Instructions provided extremely clear.

Location was good. Very private and quirky little house. Well equipped with teas, coffee and toiletries that i think some of these may have been left by previous visitors.

Staircase was a little rickedy and no way of turning light on upstairs from downstairs when dark . Could be an issue if you need the bathroom through the night as the toilet is downstairs.Shower was powerful but there were broken tiles when stepping into it, also light pull did not appear very secure. TV and Internet was a bit hit and miss and contact numbers in info file need updating. Toaster looked like it had melted so didn't want to use it.. Just feel that it needs a bit more TLC.

Great location, and quirky apartment with quirky staircase. Got everything you need for a short stay..

A bit chilly in the morning, unfortunately couldn't work out the heating, I'm sure if I'd contacted the owner they would have helped, Maybe some guidance/ instructions would help..

There was no breakfast

Space and the location. Plenty of room and us both and the dog. Clean and comfortable to stay

Windy stairs for the dog but she was fine downstairs. Some plug sockets didn't work likely due to a tripped fuse before we arrived but wasn't an issue
