Royal Mile Apartment

It was a 10 minute walk to the old town

It is not a luxury apartment at all but very basic. It is located amongst student apartments and the entrance is not appealing at all. There is no shower screen on the bath, no plug on the basin and when you do decide to shower, you have to use a separate basic wall mounted small cheap geyser that does not give off any pressure and doesn’t maintain a constant temperature either. Main bedroom window doesn’t close properly as well so prone to noise and temperature ingress.

Well located near old town and Royal mile, 5 minute walking distance. Spacious living areas. Easy to access. Well stocked kitchen

There was a crack in the bathtub and the second toilet was a bit small. There was a stain on one of the curtains in the living room. The water pressure in the shower was very low.

Very comfortable and clean. Very convenient.

Everything was good.

The apartment was fine. But not luxury like it called itself. The appliances were new and clean.

Very over priced given the building and facilities. Dirty clothes and bags of rubbish sat outside our room for 2 days. The foyer smelled of dirty nappies. The location of the apartment is surrounded by student living, a drug clinic, a welfare/st John help facility. There was drug and alcohol effected people in the area, right near the apartment. We didn't feel it was safe for our 13 year old to wander to the shops alone.

The property is nice and close to Waverley station and is well taken care of. It was clean and comfortable.

Location was excellent, beautiful apartment.
