The location was very good. Shops very close and quite near attractions. So many old buildings and churches to see if so inclined. The ghost bus the first night was fun. We saw Edinburgh Castle at night. Seeing the royal yacht britannia tour was amazing. That was near Newhaven just a few miles down the road.

A few to many rules for the accommodation. Very good instructions though for the heating ect. The pictures on the Internet don't quite match up to expectations. That might just be me though. A

I use 4 basic criteria for travel lodging reviews: clean, quiet, safe and how well the experience met expectations. I do my homework in advance so I know what to expect and to make sure that I’m fair to the host. The Edinburgh apartment was great on all counts. It was spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean. Emma was always responsive to our questions. Check-in was convenient and easy. Location was great with plenty of options for restaurants and groceries. It was far enough away from the main tourist areas but close enough to access all parts of the city on foot. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.
