To noisy at night

Nobody was helping me to carry my bag through the very long staircase… I climbed 4 floors with my heavy baggage and had backpain afterwards

Location. Comfortable bed. Cosy apartment.

The noise. Delivery's@ 4 in the morning. Bin's being emptied around the same time. Although there is not a lot you can do about that.

Cute and cozy, WiFi was good - it was important to me with my remote job. Right outside of Edinburg Castle, good value for a 4 night stay. Having a kitchen was such a huge advantage too - not a huge restaurant eater, it was nice to cook at home a few times. Washing machine is there but no detergent or a dryer so plan accordingly for your clothes to have time to dry. The flat is on the fourth floor (no elevators:) with a nice overlook, the view made me smile every time I left/came back home! Could use a little more closet space (big vacuum cleaner was inside the only tiny closet, I could not hang a long dress/coat because of it) I am rating our stay 10/10 since we loved Edinburgh, and would come back in a heartbeat. Property manager has recommended a lot of places to see and taste and was constantly checking in on us which was incredibly thoughtful. Check in/out was easy through the lockbox.

Location, decor, facilities, communication with the owners. Beautiful apartment for city break.

Noise outside - busy pedestrianised area, pubs and bars, deliveries overnight. That's beyond anyone's control, but take earplugs, or you won't get much sleep.

Perfect location, really close to the Castle, train station, and Victoria Street. The apartment had everything we needed, great views, and was clean and comfortable.

Stairs are actually a killer! We also should have taken ear plugs as suggested in previous reviews, as the central location meant hustle and bustle, obviously. It didn’t ruin our stay, though.

I would not stay here again. I was quite disappointed with this apartment. It is overpriced for the quality on offer. The decor felt dated and very sparse. I've experienced much better accommodations for less money. Only good thing was the location. The lamp on the right side of the bed was broken, and the blind in the bedroom was also faulty. The throws were stained, and the bed was two singles pushed together rather than a proper double. There were long dark hairs everywhere (I have short hair), which suggested the flat could have benefited from a more thorough clean. Additionally, there was minimal storage for clothes, especially considering the space was cluttered with cleaning equipment. The internet connection was weak and kept crashing. I found it rather intrusive that my personal details were shared with a third company, resulting in an overwhelming number of texts to my mobile without my consent. Furthermore, I certainly do not require an incessant stream of advice or recommendations about the city, especially as I have lived here before. The overall verdict is that it is substandard and disappointing, especially given the price.

Very cosy. Great views. Excellent location. Everything we needed in preparing a few lunches.

Internet was patchy at times. Bathroom door didn’t shut.
