Disappointing that the bathroom door would not close properly, despite this problem being reported in earlier Booking.com reviews. We also reported the problem on arrival but again no action was taken. Granted the price charged it’s not unreasonable to expect that the apartment would have a functioning bathroom door.

The stairs - especially travelling with luggage - was almost impossible to get our bags up the stairs. I'm glad we were fit. It would have been almost impossible for my parents to make their way up. VERY DISAPPOINTING !

In terms of location of your looking for central it can’t be more so. The downside of that is we didn’t realise how noisy it would be…. All night long! Old sash and case windows which block no noise at all from the street below (pretty as they are)

Broken trim under the shower, bathroom door wouldn’t close properly

Excellent location, could hardly be closer. Easy checkin and very responsive staff.

The bed is in reality two very poor quality beds pushed together with no attachments and uncomfortable mattresses. The shower tray was broken and actually quite hazardous to feet.

Great location. Had all the facilities we needed. We were prepared for the 77 stairs!

The apartment had everything we needed and the location was literally in the middle of everything- so very easy to get around.

It’s not a fault of the property, and we knew this when we booked it, but being right on the Royal Mile, it was loud at night and in the early mornings. It was hard to sleep but nothing some ear plugs couldn’t solve. It was still worth it!

Everything about this apartment was amazing. Location was great and the apartment itself was stunning! Easy check in process and host is very responsive. Very fair price based on all the great things this apartment has to offer.

The apartment is so central and convenient. Clean and beautifully appointed. We couldn’t fault anything.
