It's a nice apartment, excellent location, with beautiful views located at the top of 4 flights of a spiral staircase with no lift. That climb negatively affected our stay. Please add it to your description.

Don't book if you have health issues or a slight disability. Carrying multi days of luggage up 4 flights of stairs is probably difficult for many, but especially for those with hip and knee issues. It really affected our stay, we wish we would have known. If you are in good health, you will really enjoy it. But this warning for people with health concerns should be in THE DESCRIPTION. That info is hard to find in the desktop website, easier on the phone app.

Stay here - you won’t be disappointed! Fantastic little apartment in an amazing location. Spotlessly clean and a perfect base for exploring the city. Yes, the four flights of stairs to get up are a bit of a killer but you’re rewarded with an amazing view of the Royal Mile. We’ll definitely be back!!

The location is right on the busiest tourist area, so it's convenient to go around, but it's also very noisy even at night.

The host didn't alarm of the room being at the 4th floor (actually it was the 5th floor and with very steep spiral stairs, more than 75 steps to climb) without elevator before I made the non-refundable reservation. It would have been a disaster if we had big luggage to carry.

Location and newness of the space. Modern aesthetic and the view was awesome.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the cold water did not work. There was no contact number left in the apartment, so we had to go through our daughter (who was in a different country and time zone) to connect with someone. Unfortunately, we had already left by the time they reached back out to us. All of this would have been resolved had their been any contact # left in the apartment. When they reached back out to both myself and my daughter, they apologised and noted that there would be a partial refund. However there has not been one to date. The property itself is quite lovely and the view amazing. Just disappointed that we had no way to contact them other than through the Booking app, which clearly wasn’t looked at until the next day.

The location was excellent. The apartment was clean, modern and had a lovely interior. The shower was good and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen was also very well equipped. The view from the windows down onto the Royal Mile was great.

Maybe a more comfortable sofa but that really is a minor point and maybe a couple of foot stools to put your feet up on, again a really minor point as the apartment was very comfortable and the bed was very comfortable.

It was very difficult to open the apt door with our key.

A very comfortable apartment in the most useful location for the Fringe - it took less than 10 minutes to walk to most of the venues I was visiting from there. It was great to have a base to pop back to quickly between shows and was it easy to walk back to late at night - perfect for what I wanted for this trip. The kitchen was great, plenty of cooking tools and I appreciated that there was a coffee pot and cafetiere to make some nice coffee (if you go and get some ground coffee). I enjoyed the view of the Royal Mile and watched the parade leaving the Tatoo at 11pm from the window. The stairs were no problem for me as I traveled light, I got pretty used to them. It was noisy out on the street, but the noise did settle at midnight before the glass bin collectors arrived at about 7am! I was OK with earplugs though.

Fiddly lock, there seems to be a bit of a knack to opening it quickly that I didn't have time to work out.
