The property I booked is not available so the owner gave me another property ...it could take travel more then 30 mins...and also I waiting near the property for 2 hrs...waste of time and my family also affected

We booked this Airbnb for 4 nights at a cost of £1,665, but unfortunately, it was not worth the money. The place had a strong mouldy smell, the sink was filthy, the toilet had no lock, the cold water in the downstairs shower didn’t work, and there were stains on the duvet and filthy carpets. The bin in the flat was absolutely disgusting—I felt sick just looking at it. Additionally, the owner was unresponsive; they only replied to my message once to provide a key code and didn’t answer my calls at all. After seeing the condition of the flat, I immediately texted the owner to express our dissatisfaction and requested a refund for the remaining nights, but I never received a response. To make matters worse, two other groups of people knocked on the door during our stay, claiming they had bookings for the same flat at the same time. In summary, this place was far below our expectations, and I felt the owner was untrustworthy. Please consider the reviews carefully before booking this property. I regret not doing so myself.

Horrible Horrible property and landlord...

Everything...was a nightmare soon as we arrived ...got to the property where we met 11 immigrants already living in dire conditions 4 to a room ...messaged the landlord who told us he had over booked at 1am midnight and we had to leave to find other accommodation. Landlord promised a refund which then took three months to come through because the landlord wouldn't reply . Finally booking. Com refunded after showing messages from landlord saying he would. Do NOT STAY HERE .. IT WAS DISGUSTING 🫣

Decent location

The owner didn't answer the call on arrival and instead sent text straight away sending us to a different location 30 minutes drive away. Doesn't give any information on the other property so wasn't aware of what to expect. They then blamed it on the sytem for over booking. The location is very bad and the building is very dangerous. The flat smells very bad and has no amenities. Had to keep the window open the whole night to try and get rid of the smell, but the heating doesn't work. The owner didn't reply to text either after leaving us to deal with the horrible situation. It's definitely not worth the money paid and not what you want to deal with after a long travel. Would not recommend.

Location of the property was perfect. LidL and many eating places were nearby. View from the property was beautiful. Property had 4 rooms with enough bed for almost 15 people, 1 lounge, 1 dinning room, Kitchen with microwave, fridge, kettle and enough cutleries and there was only one bathroom.

My Booking was for another property but after reaching Edinburgh I received text from the owner saying that the property was overbooked and I will have to move to the other property. I had car with me so commute to new place was not a problem for me but it could be for someone who doesn’t have.

Nothing we like, rice cooker broken,not enough cooking pots ,no microwave, no TV it not enough water on the top floor rooms ,it advertising as a disable access property but it's only on the ground entrance all other facilities are on top floors it's a he'll hole in the country highly disappointed it's shembe for booking.com to have a propties like this .

All facilities are not up to the standard of the advertising on the site very poor management and unsatisfactory place. Never recommend to anyone.
