Edinburgh Ocean Inn

Not very much.

I had contacted the host a few times before our arrival, asking for details of how to get into the apartment. Unfortunately, I had no reply. We were attending a rugby game and couldn't hang around waiting to get into the apartment any longer. So left hoping that after the game, we would have information. Instead, I got a text message at 8pm saying we had to go to a different accommodation (32 Portland Street) as this one was double booked. When we finally reached the new accommodation, it was dirty, the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned, and there were slugs in the understair bathroom. The bed sheets were dirty, as if not changed from the last people who had stayed. Sockets were hanging out the wall and there was no hot water. I contacted the host to make them aware of these issues, and I still haven't heard back. It's a bit disappointing and we won't be using these again.

1) the address on the site was wrong, ie, 5, Lindsay road, edinburg, eh6 4tu but the address of the apartment was 5 Lindsay road, edinburg, eh6 4dt. We had to walk about 600 meters with our luggage to reach the correct address 2) The rooms were not clean and a clean up was promised while we were staying but there those promises were not fulfilled . 3) dining and kichen area walls had alot of holes in them 4) restrooms locks and handles were broken and not functional 5) there were spider webs all around the apartment due to the unattended cleanliness 6) dining areas floors were very weak and broken in some places 7) the property promised in the pictures wasnt met up to the mark in terms of the furnitures provided

Moved to different property just before check in

Not the property what was stated and poor hygiene, compromised safety as no lock on front door and filthy flat, refused to stay and left the premises there and then

It was location given to me problem with my kids and nobody picked it phone

Very dirty doors, surfaces, carpets, sofa and dirty bed linen. Holes in plasterboard walls, handles missing off doors, holes/weak floorboards. Apartment smelly.
