Lovely decoration, great location, friendly hosts, couldn't ask for more.

The bed was a bit hard but for the price can't complain, bargain.

I was met at the property by Hakim, a member of the team, with the keys and he explained everything. Prior to this communication with Paolo had been excellent, his written guide which he e-mails you beforehand is really informative about all aspects of the stay. The property was just as described, I stayed in the studio and it is gorgeous. Paolo had made sure that there was water, bread, eggs and oranges available for me on arrival, which was so thoughtful. He also dropped by the following day and said hello as he was checking on work due to be done next door at a neighbour's house. I loved staying in this part of the medina, I got a real sense of what life is like there. The property is really well equipped, with a very comfortable bed and cooking equipment so I was able to cater for myself, great as I am here in Morocco for a month.

Nothing, everything was excellent, just wish I had the opportunity to stay longer. Essouria is so lovely.

I would like to have my own house like this apartment. It's comfortable, cosy and beautiful. First few minutes we spent on "visiting" this apartment and looking at decoration - accually it's a kind of art not only place to stay. Arrangement of apartment is well-thought-out, there is big and comfortable mezzanine bed, sofa to chill, eating place, armchair, shelves for clothes and even small desk if somebody needs to work online. And still there is enough space to move comfortably. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking (there was also coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt for guests) in the bathroom is also everything what tourists need (even hair dryer). Meeting with the host - Paolo was super nice; what the interesting, inteligent and kind person, we feel lucky to meet him. Few days before our arrival we had contact with Paolo via WhatsApp with offer of help with taxi etc. When we arrived we found water, bread, olives, eggs, delicious biscuits and fruits for breakfast - nice surprise. The apartment is located in calm street in the medina.

Everything was hilarious. Location is perfect, just on the old city walls(Medina), 5 minutes walk to the beach. House is like an art museum, there is more than what you need. Everything was thought with all tiny details. House consist of 3.5 floors, living room and kitchen on the first floor, bedroom on second, a cool single room on the mezzanine and a terrace with a view to Ocean, wow ! Fireplace exposed a great atmosphere. Bed was very comfy with electricity blanket. We were taken care of very well, owner-Paolo was very informative and easy contactable. They welcomed us with some fruits, snacks, pasta, eggs, water which was very kind. Housekeeper-Hakim was super friendly. Price for such quality was very good. I would definitely come back and also recommend it to all my friends.

Great appartments in a authentic neighborhood. Paolo was very responsive & the lovely Halima was around every day. I would definetely book DAR 91 again.

Great location, property was a studio apartment which was perfect for a couple or a solo traveller. Paolo was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Apartment was clean, had WiFi, cooking appliences, and any amenities you would need for a stay in Essaouira. Can’t recommend this place more.
