Desert Home Essaouira

Great little home with nice living room area cute outdoor patio. Location vis perfect if you want to be close to the beach and 5min drive to the old city. Super easy with checking in and out.

Accommodation was comfortable for 4 in two double bedrooms, with a camp bed to spare in one bedroom. Any additional guests, 6 upwards, would all be in one large lounge.

The worst aspects were towels and kitchen items. Initially there were only big towels for 2 out of 4 adult guests, and it took us a further 48 hours to get enough big towels for 4. The hosts told us they had “lost a lot this year” (implying ‘stolen’) but that was not our fault. In the kitchen there were insufficient mugs, glasses and cutlery for 4 guests, let alone for the 8-10 that the property could take if you include children. We bought 4 more mugs and 4 more glasses and left them there for future guests. There wasn’t even a cork-screw, take your own! The town is great to visit and stay in, the Medina is nicer than Marrakech in our opinion, and the locals are very friendly. The location of the property is good, 10 mins walk from the best beach cafe and beds, and only 5 mins more to the Medina.!

No signage on front... but for those who book this .. look for the MSK sign. . Quite a few cockroach in the rooms and kitchen 🪳
