Loved the place comfortable. Bedding was fabulous. Spacious.

The insects. There were a lot so it was difficult to enjoy the patio. Obviously we are in the countryside so it is to be expected but perhaps insect screens could be added.

The place catered for everything, ypu literally just needed to bring what you wanted to consume. they even had bucket loads of ice. all equipment you could possibly need for a weekend away. Spa service that comes to your house. very convenient and awesome service!

The pictures on the website made it seem like we were going to stay at the guest house but we ended up staying in the schuur.

We new our stay would be on a beautiful farm out of Frankfort - but we did not know that the two different roads to the farm are dirt roads - ( one for bakkies) and the one for cars turn off on the Tweeling road towards Frankfort. Our fault we traveled at night.

Very private and quite stay on the farm. Was excellent to have free access to rest of the farm for hiking, swimming it the river, farm trails. Great stay for a private getaway and a family that just wants to connect undisturbed.
