Harpenden House

The host was super responsive, helpful and accommodating! The beds were very comfy and there were tonnes of supplies and extras.

We have stayed at HH on a number of occasions and it was the first time for us to stay in Apt 5.The layout of all the HH apartments is excellent. The host, Tony, responds well to any question or requests and was readily available throughout our stay.

The bathroom shower is a little impractical as the water does tend to splatter a lot (regardless of shower head angle)onto the rest of the bathroom floor making it and the bath mat sodden. The floor sponge/blade cleaner, that could help clean up, needs replacing along with the floor mat. A solution ought to be found to make showering practical. The carpets on the entrance stairway could do with deep cleaning as could he carpet as you enter the apartment

Had everything we needed and was very comfortable and the location to restaurants and train was fantastic

The location and parking.

It was apt 5 and unless you’re 5ft 6in or smaller the ceilings are too low, it made things very awkward. The bathroom is not very good at all, constantly soaking the rest of the bathroom when you had a shower because of the layout. It was not cleaned at all well. Cobwebs and dust and most disgusting of all hair in the shower. I would not expect this from the pictures or price.

the property was just what we needed for our family with a dog. the bedrooms were a good size and the beds clean and comfortable. the kitchen had everything you needed and it was well positioned looking over the lounge area but separated by glass the dining lounge area was well decorated and the sofas and dining chairs comfortable. the large tv was a real treat . the courtyard garden was perfect for the dog.lounge with a large outdoor dining area perfect for alfresco dining. it was well decorated with outside lights making it fun for entertainers
