VLIA Mykonos

The view was amazing and we spent hours on the terrace as it is sheltered from the wind. The terrace has a plunge pool, a very comfortable big cushion, a nice corner sofa and great little lights to give a very romantic atmosphere. The terrace was a definite highlight!! The beach is 3 mins walk away, very nice design, décors and comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The shutters in the bedroom are very good as the sleep doesn't wake you up. The host was communicating well, he was nice and helpful. He arranged an atv rental for us (65 euros we had such a blast all day, biggest atv I'd seen, very comfortable too) to be dropped off and picked up at the flat so it was wonderful as we didn't need to go anywhere to pick it up or do anything. Thank again Petros we loved our stay!! 😊

It's important to know that there is no public transport to get there, which means that you either need to take a taxi back and forth or rent a car, so the price can add up quickly especially if you are staying several days and want to visit the island. Price wise, taxi is about 20 euros per person, renting a car for a day is about 40 euros so it's better financially, to rent a car , especially if you are a family.

Quiet and beautiful part of the island.

The photos of the apartment do not correspond to our real accommodation. We ordered two apartments. Unfortunately, we think this is the owner's intention. The complaint was unsuccessful.

We stayed in the basement appartment without swimmingpool. The appartment itself was quite spacious. Entering you can in the livingroom, then into the kitchen and from the kitchen into the bedroom with bathroom. Entering the appartment and then to the left brought you to a extra bed, toilet and shower.

First of all about the appartment: It was in the basement and that was also how it smelled when entering. The smell of mold came to you. When looking at both bathrooms, the floors were full of black spots. The appartment totally not hygienic and needs some havy cleansing/ update. Second: the location but this is a bit our own fault. The appartement is located 5 min walk from Lia beach and beachclub. This is a very nice beach and club although quite expensive (two beds plus umbrella at seaside is 120 Euros per day). The issue here is that the beachclub with restaurant closes at 20:30. Now this is the time when you go for dinner in Greece or even later. This club/restaurant is the only one in a range of around 8 KM, also no shops whatever in the neighbourhood. So when booking this appartment, you have to have a car otherwise you are burried! Taxi to Mykonos town cost you 45 Euros single trip.

I was only one night but all was OK. Good attention from the staff, nice room with washing machine that helped me a lot, comfortable beds. Was OK

Unfortunately the room were I stayed was probably the one with worst views. Absolutely no sea view and in a position where cars leaving the hotel at night were lighting the entire room. A bit disappointing in that sense

Small bugs were coming out of the wall during the nights. We had killed 50+ in the first 4 nights until we found where they are coming from. We have plugged in the hole with napkins so they stopped coming.

It had beautiful architecture and all the amenities. a/c and great wifi the host is the best ever! goes above and beyond to help with everything.

there was a miscommunication and we thought there was a pool at our rental and there wasn’t. definitely would be helpful to have a car.
