Hollywood Beachfront House

Locatie was perfect. De straat uitlopen en je stond op het strand. Ook fijn dat je een eigen parkeerplaats hebt en dus niet betaald aan de straat hoeft te staan. Appartement was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Van koffie, thee tot aan verschillende douchezeep en shampoo. Wat ook heel fijn was, dat je allerlei strand accesoires kon lenen, stoeltjes, koelboxen etc. In een aantal reviews had ik gelezen, dat het er niet schoon zou zijn en dat er kakkerlakken rondliepen. Hier totaal niets van gemerkt. Het appartement is wat ouder, maar was heel schoon en netjes. Ik heb geen kakkerlak gezien. Wij hebben ons hier 2 nachten prima vermaakt en veilig gevoeld. Ik zou hier zo weer boeken.

Communicatie met de eigenaar is een ramp. Er wordt niet nof nauwelijks gereageerd op berichten en vragen. Dit was heel frusterend en kan echt beter. Het appartement zou nog beter tot zijn recht komen, als het een beetje opgeknapt zou worden. Een andere vloer, likje verf en andere plinten. Ook zijn sommige meubels wel aan vervanging toe. Het belangrijkste is overigens de hygiene en die was prima in orde.

Proximity to beach is pretty great! Very quiet although possibly because no one else was there. Check in instructions very easy. Didn’t use the courtyard but it was nice to have. Beach chairs and umbrella were a nice touch though both were broken. Sink/microwave/mini fridge and dinnerware were perfect mini kitchen additions for my needs. AC works well.

Sheets were dirty, possibly unchanged from the last guest, and are the poly blend that just sticks to your skin if you’re at all sweaty or damp. Air fresheners were absolutely overkill, like death by cinnamon when you walk in… too many for such a small space, seems like there’s a lingering smell it’s covering up. Bed very uncomfortable - thin, springy, and slouching in the middle.

A cozy room with a functional and well-equipped kitchenette and a walk-in closet. Very clean. The air conditioning works well. A small but very nice garden area where we loved spending the evenings. And it's very close to the beach. We (3 adults and 1 child) spent 5 days there. I highly recommend it.

Host needs to install more electrical outlets to plug in electric devices and chargers. The outlet close to the desk is not operable.

30 second walk to beach, stocked with anything you could think to need including beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, bbq and supplies, well stocked kitchen. Also offered a washer and dryer so we don’t have to bring home any dirty clothes. Location is safe and great for a family. Very clean, easy check in and check out.

Everything was great

Very quiet! Very close to the beach! Beach wasn’t very busy. About a mile walk to restaurants & stores.
