Bower Apartment

Lovely flat, well thought out had everything we needed, really comfy bed, good shower. Lovely and cosy, would definitely stay again.

Apartment was modern and decorated very stylishly. Common area (dining/living room) is spacious. Kitchen was useful. Television had Prime to watch shows,

It's a basement apartment and smelled like one. My husband was upset that his clothes smelled of mildew. Additionally, the side of the bed facing the window smelled awfully, as if were a mildew packed corner. It was unbearable to turn over and sleep facing the window, that's how badly it smelled. The apartment needs a dehumidifier to contain the smell. The apartment building location is good; however, the actual apartment is in the rear of the building and the approach is a mechanic's garage along with a walk past a large dumpster. Not quite the charm, nor prestige that Harrogate is. The bathroom did not have any counter space which is really difficult to manage if one has toiletries. The shower also has no shelving and being quite small it was difficult to bend down to pump the shampoo bottle on the floor. And finally, the kitchen is well equipped but without a dishwasher. I never trust that previous guests have washed dishes properly.

Het appartement was mooi, schoon en compleet ingericht. Het ligt heel centraal, om de hoek van het bus- en treinstation. Het bed was comfortabel en de badkamer prima.

Absolutely nothing not to like

Parking right outside in allocated space . Very handy to a garage as we arrived with a puncture and they fixed us up and so reasonable. Handy for town and exhibitions and comfortable to come back too. Huge telly,comfortable bed , plenty of hot water and well equipped kitchen. Asda around the corner

We did struggle with trying to work the hob and gave up !

It was centrally located and near to the town centre. Very clean and tidy and was a good find. The owners responded well before the stay and answered any questions that we had.

The location of the property is fantastic, a stones throw from Harrogate centre, the bus station and Asda, bars and restaurants. The flat itself is compact and has everything you need for a short stay. This is the second time I have stayed and will definitely book again.

Parking can be a little tricky as the garage next to the property can get quite busy with other cars, but nothing that makes a difference or takes away from the apartment.
