Bretts Rest AZA

The place is old but kept clean. The owner is very helpful and gave us useful advice about the island. It has got essential facilities and allowed us to cook meals. The bed is comfy. The kangaroo island is expensive and this one is reasonable and good for value compared to other places.

I wish the kitchen had a big table.

Location was good. Had all the facilities you would need. Friendly dog was around the property. Self contained and less than a 5 minute drive to the town.

Was difficult to find the entrance at first.

Quiet location with lots of wildlife, good walk to beach, cute cottage, excellent friendly host, and a friendly “Bluey” dog

We liked it. This is good value for money, with a simple layout and clean comfortable facilities.

A cosy cabin in a very quiet environment. Handy to Kingscote and the beach is close by. Convenient location for checking out most of the attractions on the Island. Recommended.

Fantastic property with a really friendly host. Perfect for those with pets as lots of room for off leash play. We had the added bonus during our stay of an aurora australis event which can be easily viewed from the beach about a km from the property. Highly recommend

The accommodation was perfect in a very nice quiet location and Brett was very friendly and a happy go lucky host. I recommend to anybody to stay there and we will be back.
