House of Forrest in Nagarjun is truly one of the best stays I’ve experienced in Kathmandu. The location is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a perfect escape from the city noise, yet still close enough to reach the main areas easily. The apartment was spotless, modern, and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay — from a cosy bedroom and clean bathroom to a functional kitchen and beautiful balconies. But what truly makes this place special is the host. He is incredibly warm, kind, and genuinely caring; always available, quick to help, and willing to go the extra mile for guests. His hospitality made the stay feel safe, homely, and very personal. If you want a calm, clean, and welcoming place in Kathmandu, House of Forrest is an exceptional choice.

Der Inhaber war super freundlich und immer erreichbar. Er hat extra einen Parkplatz frei geschaufelt für unseren Mietwagen. Das wasser war klar und warm. Auf der Dachterrasse konnte man auf ganz kathmanu gucken. Traumhaft mit den Bergen im Hintergrund. Wir würde wieder kommen.

A truly wonderful and Homely Apartment. I had initially booked for 2 Nights and had a lovely experience. Later extended to another week of Stay . The Apartment resides in a quiet neighbourhood far from the hustle bustle of the city and its near to Nagarjuna forest reserve 🌳. I normally like quiet and easy going accommodation and so far its one of my favourites. The view from the terrace overlooking the forest is mesmerising. The Apartment has an Automatic security system , which helps if your are often out and return late to the apartment( Easy Life ). The Owner is very approachable and helpful , incase if you are in need of any assistance. All in all an amazing and wonderful experience. 10/10 👌

I absolutely loved my stay here! The neighborhood is peaceful, clean, and you can actually breathe fresh air – a real oasis in Kathmandu. Surrounded by monasteries and forest, yet only 15 minutes away from the busy city center. The accommodation is modern and up to European standards – honestly, it feels like staying in a 4-star hotel in Germany. Everything is spotless, comfortable, and designed with great attention to detail. For me, this is the best place to stay in Kathmandu – I’ll definitely be coming back!
