The accommodation impresses with its perfect location in a very quiet and clean environment. The friendly people and the European facilities contribute to a pleasant stay. The house is very clean and lovingly decorated. Mr. Dadhi Raj Ghimire, the host, is very nice and helpful.

The amenities is tip top. I love the location, it’s not far from thamel but not close either. So it is more peaceful but not disconnected.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy studio apartment. The space was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished with everything I needed—from kitchen essentials to a super comfortable bed. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transportation, shops, and restaurants. Apartment was very comfortable, it was very beautiful. The view of balcony was excellent. All the appliances were in good condition and well working. The owner was very friendly and supportive and well spoken. It’s a great option for solo travelers or couples looking for a comfortable, hassle-free place to stay. Would definitely book again!

Clean, spacious and comfortable

Feel comfortable like our home, nearby community is very lovely, helpful, kind, supportive and safe. Clean environment. The owner is super host: welcoming; helping, guiding like hosting to old good friends. The reviews from booking.com for this apartment are very genuine, we certified those reviews indeed. We ( me and my husband) came to Kathamandu for relaxation and exploring Nepalese culture. This apartment is exactly what we have been looking for our trip. We will definitely come back again. One more thing I like the fact is simple security system for compound , main door and room door. Superb 😂🥰

We had a wonderful 6-day stay at this charming apartment! It was cozy, clean, the amenities were great, and the decor created a warm atmosphere. Our host was friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for a lovely getaway!

The only downside was the cleaner, who didn’t change our towels or refill the toilet paper. She even asked us to check out earlier, despite the owner's request for a later checkout.

Was easily accessible and easy to check-in and check out. Rooms were clean and amenities were provided as listed. Would recommend for short and long term stays for people who want a quiet place to unwind away from the hustle bustle of the city.

I had an excellent stay at the House of Forrest guesthouse. The location is fairly quiet, at the edge of Kathmandu, far removed from the chaos of downtown. The room is small but adequate, with a fridge, bathroom and comfortable bed. The owner brought up a table to accommodate my remote work needs, and the wifi was also good for this purpose. Access to a washing machine and drinking water were also appreciated, as was the balcony and spacious rooftop area for relaxing.

The location is quite far from the airport (I paid 1000 rupees for a taxi) which is a little inconvenient, and getting a bus ticket or to a bus station will require a long walk or taxi ride. The room also smelled a bit of smoke (I am a non-smoker).
