House of Forrest, Service Apartments

The apartment is relatively new. It has a decent size and kitchen. Hosts are nice people. They did their best to make my stay comfortable.

The noise. Barking dogs and next door villagers were disturbing especially early in the morning. The main reason I booked this apartment so far from Thamel is to get a good night sleep but it didn’t happen. Plus it relatively far away from all main destinations in Kathmandu hence taxi expenses. Originally I thought to cook in the apartment but it wasn’t convenient with my travels so I just had breakfasts and it was a bonus. unfortunately I struggled to find cafes around with my food preferences. Everything is spicy and mostly catered for locals, not tourists. There was some problems with power but it’s common for Kathmandu as it turned out.

Perfect location for escaping from the noise of the city

The hotel is located in a picturesque location with beautiful views of Kathmandu from the roof. It was very clean and had all the facilities needed. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in Kathmandu.

Very nice room with a private bathroom and shower. Internet is good and comparatively fast. View from the roof terrace is beautiful. Everything nearby is easy to reach and it is comparatively very quiet.
