The Lighthouse

A great property in La Spezzia. Clean, comfortable with so many thoughtful touches. Our host left us fresh fruit, tarts, eggs, yogurt, prosciutto, bread & cheese. We felt very much at home and the property had all services that were listed.

We loved our stay. Alessandra was very accommodating and provided us with lots of breakfast food. The apartment is also very spacious.

fantastic apartment at the highest level. Aleksandra took care of every detail. it was better than the hotel. beautiful bathroom. super-equipped kitchen. and the food was excellent. there was actually too much food. great bed in the bedroom. I would give it not 10 points, but 15. I will recommend it to everyone and if I come back here again, I will only go to Aleksandra's apartment

A large apartment with 2 rooms, very clean and quiet, right in the historic center. Rich, generous and delicious breakfast, with everything you need. The host Alessandra gave us useful travel tips and for visiting the area. Thank you! We will definitely come back here when we visit Liguria again.

Fabulous mattress and pillows Very spacious apartment with huge sitting room. Very cosy kitchen with everything you could need. The extra touches such as leaving cooking oil and washing machine detergent were really appreciated. Very quiet area of La Spezia. I would certainly stay here again

Probably the only thing that i think might have helped was more detailed instructions about the recycling. Not being from Italy I was confused about what was allowed in each bin. A fantastic system by the way, other countries could learn a lot.

Handy location and walking distance to most things. Breakfast supplies were very generous. The host Alessandra was very welcoming and always available to assist with anything.

Not in relation to the unit but for your information …Although the train station is only 800 metres from the unit, if your pulling suitcases it’s rough. 90% if the footpaths, roads etc are either cobble stones or uneven blocks of stone making it very difficult and hard on the wheels. In areas you will need to carry the suitcase a short distance. The only alternative is a taxi that will cost around 15 euros.

The apartment was well located within easy walking distance of the train station and the sea promenade. The market was only just around the corner, which was very convenient.

The apartment was located on a side street so didn’t have any interesting views of the town.
