Duke Street - Liverpool city centre apartment

Location of the apartment was great, found it easy to find and was close to bars, restaurants, shops and the docks.

Having to go to the train station to collect the keys wasn’t ideal.

Great location, clean and had everything we needed.

What a lovely apartment in a fantastic location! We stay in Liverpool a couple of times a year and have stayed in many apartments and hotels and this one, in terms of comfort, location, space and value for money has to be the best. You do have to collect the keys from Liverpool lime street station, and we managed to hit rush hour traffic which was a little bit of a nightmare but no fault of the host of course! Once we'd retrieved the key and arrived everything went smoothly. The underground secure parking is such a bonus especially as we always walk everywhere once settled so it was nice to know the car was safe while we enjoyed our holiday The apartment itself is spotlessly clean, light , airy and spacious. Really comfortable sofa , perfect for relaxing on after a long day sightseeing. Really comfy bed too. We both slept really well. Ideally located as everything was within walking distance for us. The apartment is in a square with some restaurants , we tried The Indian Tiffin room which was absolutely delicious Being close to a group of restaurants there is a bit of noise in the evenings, but as we were out most of the time (or shattered when we were in) it didn't affect us in the slightest. All in all, it's a lovely base when you've got lots of days out planned but homely and comfortable for relaxing in too . The host was fantastic with his communication and instructions. We brought our own cafetiere with us as we knew there was no coffee machine. A tip would be : don't overthink the instructions on how to find the car park . It's exactly as the instructions say - the first set of gates you see are the carpark , use the key fob to open them!

Can't think of anything we didn't like! Really is a fabulous place to stay.

Flat was in a great location and came with parking which we needed. Communication with John was great.

Having to pick up keys from a location with no parking 10min walk away - would have liked to know that before booking. Flat is lovely but a little tired.

Lovely comfortable apartment only a short walk from the city centre and main tourist attractions. Clean and well equipped. Perfect for our long weekend break.

Only issue for us was having to collect the key from Lime Street station. This probably works for those arriving by train but, for those arriving by car who don't know the area, it can be a bit difficult. Not sure what other options there are but surly there must be something easier.
