River View Apartment

Great location. Well appointed. Clean and comfortable. Great staff. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was close to the river’s promenade.

Noise level (the room was above a pub. I don’t believe that was disclosed by Booking.com website). Both nights of our stay, boisterous customers toasted drinks, sang, and loudly chatted until the wee hours. Once the customers left, the staff had to clean the area, so there was another 30-60 minutes of additional noise. Although fairly clean, the bed mattresses were very, very soft. The shower grout had some visible mold and the walk up to the apartment faced a courtyard filled with beer kegs and trash. The lighting was a bit tricky also (we arrived just before 2100 the first night after an international flight). There was a Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker, but the apartment only had pods (for a Nespresso)…and that was only after we inquired about getting some breakfast brew.

Spacious, clean and very central, including air conditioning on some very warm days.

Fantastic location - you're on the river on the main strip in Ljubliana. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. The host was waiting on our arrival having communicated via Whatsapp so arrival was easy, as was departure. As other reviews suggest, you're directly above a bar (indeed you walk past the beer barrels on the way into the apartment) so bring those superior ear plugs! But it was all manageable. (No parking so we hired a car once we were ready to leave Ljubliana).

spacious apartment. well equipped very good central location to walk to main restaurants and attractions. good for long stays as has washing machine and kitchen.

only one a/c in living room so had to keep bedroom doors open. entrance is through a restaurant courtyard which is very messy . a/c filters needed cleaning. quite pricey.

Apartment is well situated in the city.. The washing machine was nice to have.

The entrance to the apartment is via a very ugly backyard of a pub/restaurant which is situated underneath the apartment. The pub has many tables outdoors. It was very loud at night - although we had already closed the windows. After the last guests left the pub, the staff of the pub turned on the music very loud - often until one o'clock in the morning. At six in the morning the pub staff started with preparations for the day and were very loud and reckless. My family and I could only sleep about five hours per night. Furthermore, the matresses in the bedrooms were uncomfortable (extremely soft) and old and should be replaced. After all we would not recommend this apartment to our friends.

Perfect location to be in the middle of all the night life, coffee shops, fresh Farmer’s & Meat Market every morning (within 100 yards), restaurants and gorgeous tourist stops such as ancient churches, buildings, etc.

It was slightly noisy at times but not when it really mattered.
