Robert nice to hear you want an opinion! I tried contacting you from the bottom of the premises on June2/26. I called all the available numbers but no response. The entry was all mechanical.No one to receive/ guide. The front door opened after half an hour but the apartment was on third floor and me and my wife couldn’t climb the steps as there was no Railing support. Eventually I called booking. Com who suggested

Nothing was right I did not enter the property.I called booking.com who suggested I book a new hotel and this amount would be refunded to me. Get Railings put and please dont misrepresent.Arrange to refund the amount this is hard earned money. I spoke to one of your representatives before booking I was informed there are only a few steps and elderly persons will have no issue.

Die Unterkunft hat mir einen Tag vor der Anreise das Zimmer ohne Angabe von Gründen storniert. Außer einer unpersönlichen Nachricht kam auch nichts Weiteres. Keine Entschuldigung dafür, dass ich am sehr teuren Formel-1-Wochenende ohne Zimmer dastehe – nix! Die Rückzahlung meines Geldes zieht sich leider auch seit Tagen. Kann die Unterkunft daher leider – trotz der schönen Fotos – nicht weiterempfehlen. Hoffe, dass das niemand anderem passiert!

It was close to everything i needed. we were walking distance from our supper reservations. In the morning we went to go have breakfast downstairs at the Oeufier, which was super practical. The place was clean and modern. Great place to crash if you need to be downtown, and you want to hang out in the heart of Montreal.

The things that made me feel the most uncomfortable was the structure of the building. I really felt unsafe because there was a huge unbalance on the floors, they felt like they were caving in, so I feel this can be very dangerous at any given moment. Another thing we didn't like was the fact the there was way too much air freshers for the amount of space, it left such a strong scent that even with airing out the apartment it was still there. These fresheners are super toxic and should be used sparingly. Another things is that the ways are so thin you can hear everything going inside the building and outside the building, so a Saturday night will be super loud considering the location. By 4-5 AM it was quiet.

The location was good

Nothing about the property was like advertised on booking.com. We were told there was a sofa bed in the living room, the property even confirmed the sofa bed via text, BUT NO SOFA OR SOFA BED! The property was dirty, the counters were dirty, the floors were dirty, the tub was dirty and no way to clean. No broom no cleaning products one roll of paper towels. Kitchen ware? Three glasses, on wine glass and three mugs and with dishes. Plus a mouse!! IT WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED. The property management doesn’t return calls or texts. Had to contact booking.com for help. It was after booking.com was involved when our calls were returned.

Location

Carpet filthy, floors broken and separated, drains are very slow and faucets are loose, very drafty, bifold doors all off the tracks. Dirty linens, and the floors were dirty.
