Sweet getaway apartment - central & parking

Nice apartment close to the city center (no more than 10 minutes walk), everything was just as shown in the pictures. The kitchen was fully furnished and we were able to use everything. The host has been super friendly and responsive, giving us instructions and help when needed, giving us the opportunity to leave the car in the parking even after the check-out.

Just a small problem with the kitchen sink emitting a bad smell randomly, but not a big issue.

The location of the place was just in front of the bus stop. The city centre and the bus/train station were a 30-minute walk away and to reach the main tourist attractions (museums) and Tivoli Park took only 10-15 minutes on foot. The apartment offered a comfortable bed, functioning AC and a well-equipped kitchen - the kettle, oven, microwave, dishwasher and stove worked well. There was also lots of space to cook on the countertops. All the drawers and cupboards were full of cooking accessories, and there were also little pots and places where to store bread and dry products. There was a big fridge, with a well-kept freezer. Lots of towels were provided when we arrived. The whole place was very clean and quiet, with a view over the quirky tenement buildings outside (yard side). The shower was working perfectly (there was hot water already heated by the boiler upon arrival), as well as all the bathroom equipment. The bathroom sink was big and there was a lot of space to store all the necessary things above and below - in the drawers or inside the mirror cupboard above the sink. There was even an iron and a washing machine at our disposal, though we didn't use them in the end. The apartment was cosy and a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing :) In the main corridor, just behind the stairs, there was a coffee machine and a vending machine - great things when you arrive on Sunday and you can't buy anything anywhere near. The host was also very friendly and helpful, always answering all the questions we had and quick to pick up a call from me when I needed it upon arrival.

The apartment was "hidden" deep in the corridors and we would have never reached it without proper instructions given by our host when we called her. I think it would be a good idea to provide a little "map" for future travellers, giving advice on which floor to climb, which turn to take etc., as there were multiple half-floors and zig-zagging corridors in the building. A surprising thing for us was that the elevator was "customized" with stickers and apparently "Nad" was a shortcut for "Nadstropje" meaning "floor" in Slovenian. For example, the first floor, where the apartment is located, is not where the elevator will take you when you press "1" button - you have to press the one next to which there is a sticker that reads "NAD 1". Finally, if you're clumsy, I recommend extra caution on the stairs leading to the bedroom on the mezzanine, as they have very narrow steps - always hold on to the railing! However, those were only minor setbacks ;)

Very nice apartment close to the city center. Host speaks good English and replies quickly.

The loft looks very nice, welcoming and a full equipped kitchen. As an advice, please have some house rules/instructions because we found it a bit difficult to use the boiler.

It's not like we didn't like it, but the bathroom is very tight and I had some problems with the toillet that was very close to the wall in front.
