Not very well taken care of. Very dusty with lots of cobwebs and a dead bird on the ceiling of the outdoor veranda.

The unit was spacious, comfortable and quiet. It's fairly new and well maintained. We found it to be a good location for exploring areas of the west coast in both directions. The kitchen was well equipped and the internet and tv service were both very good. I'd be happy to stay here again.

i would have like to have had screens on the windows. There weren't a lot of bugs, but for hot nights, screens would have been appreciated.

In a great location and the couples retreat was lovely. There was also a good selection of teas and chocolates for us which was a nice touch. I loved the cosy library upstairs, the lounge, bedroom and decor was lovely. The hot tub was a good bonus too.

* They need a new jug. There is floaties in the jug which is either from the bottom of the jug or lime build up. We boiled water in a pot instead. • The bedroom was too hot. I suggest some sort of cooling in there, even a fan. The duvet was way too hot for summer. I slept in the sheet. My partner was still too hot and struggled to sleep • We couldn’t figure out how to bring up Sky movies on the TV. Instructions would be helpful • The top of the windows (which are on a lean) in the lounge and library need a good clean. Doable in the lounge with a ladder and a brush from the deck. Much more of a mission for the library windows, so understandable that not done

Location was nice and secluded and you could hear the birds and see wildlife from the balcony. Once the lock box code mix up was sorted and we finally got the correct room, it was actually very nice and relaxing. Had everything g run smoothly regarding getting into the correct room up front, it would have been a great relaxing stay.

Disappointing how the checking process works. Noone on-site to discuss the fact our code as emailed actually opened a studio room not the luxury retreat room. Took several emails back to reservations, which luckily I had just enough reception to send to finally get someone to come and sort out the lockbox code mix up. Another couple also staying here had the same issue as their code was different to ours and opened Romu not Nikau and ours opened Nikau and not the 3x storey Love retreat we were expecting. Finally entered correct room about 6.30pm and moved our luggage etc in to enjoy the rest of our night.

literally everything! this place felt like an actual treehouse! we loved the glasses in room on the second floor and the glasses in area around the kitchen table. amazing location as well
