Oulunsalo Apartment

it has nothing to do with the apartment- it was difficult to order taxi to the airport. The was no information/contact phone # of taxi providers in the apartment and host has not answered my SMS about this topic. So although not really far from the airport it was not easy to get there early in the morning.

Location and the facility

Nothing much

Near airport, easy check in, very clean.

Dirty environment around the house. The house smells strange. The bedding, or at least part of it, was unwashed. Mold in the bathroom, the bathroom door won't close, the faucets drip.

The kitchen was decently well equipped and there were plenty of beds. The neighborhood was nice, and the pool table and ping pong table were a nice bonus.

The place smelled like cigarettes, which would have made us avoid it from the start because we were traveling with small children. We complained and were told that we were wrong about the smell. The yard around the house was full of vehicles, toys, and barbecue grills in various states of disrepair, so it looked a bit like a junkyard when we arrived. The bathroom also wasn't very clean, with dried urine at the base of the toilet.
