Flinders Street 238, CLEMENTS HOUSE at Federation Square, Melbourne, Australia

The location was great. The owner provided breakfast cereals. Lots of eating places in the vicinity, there is an Indian restaurant in the same building and a donut shop too!

It was actually Airbnb but was sold to me on booking.com as a serviced apartment which was never serviced during my stay. The front of the building is dug up and hence the taxi cannot reach the building, so we had to wheel our bags for good 150 meters. We were not informed about this and we had a great difficulty to reach the apartment in the evening when it was dark since our flight was delayed by over 5 hours. The taxi driver could not find a route to reach there as several roads were closed and we had to phone the apartment several times to find the correct route. The apartment does not have air conditioning as mentioned on booking.com There was a heater in the room but one had to keep the window open for some ventilation. The window overlooked a small lane which was full of waste bins. At 4.30 AM in the morning , on every single day, a truck came to pick up the garbage and made a massive racket and we could not sleep at all. Also there was a massive racket at 11.30 PM to 12 MN everyday. The washing machines and dryers are in the basement while booking.com had said that the washing machine was in the unit. The owner provided breakfast cereal but no milk...so at 9PM in the night we had to go and buy milk. It was an ordeal to get into the shower area which was actually a small tub, may be around 3.5 to 4 feet . .it was very high and wide...so for seniors it is rather difficult, no grab handles or nothing to hold if you slip in the bathroom. Also it was not clean. The double bed provided was rather narrow, less than 5 feet and not comfortable. No hand towels were provided. Only one set of towels for 4 days were left in the bathroom. The attitude of the owner, Sue, was not very polite. She messaged me about keeping the house in original condition as I had received and to clean up everything despite the fact that I had paid cleaning charges.

Excellent location, Host (Sue) is a superstar ! It is a perfect place to stay whilst travelling with friends & family. Closers to all activities & places in City. Apartment had all the required stuff and the host gave us all the details beforehand.

The location can't be beat, right opposite Flinders Street station and Federation square. Tram stops and supermarkets are literally at your front door. But still quiet as the windows didn't face the street. Very clean and very friendly and helpful host.

For a family of 4, it was probably a little small. Not much kitchen space to really prepare or cook meals, so we went out 😆 Perfect for a couple though.

Very convenient location, opposite Flinders Street station, close to theatres, arts precinct & so many eateries to choose from.

Access to shower over bath tub, difficult for senior guests. Slight inconvenience with the building works & hoarding that meant a detour to enter the building. Minor issue for a short stay.

Except location it was worst and full of disappointment n the worst ever property I stayed and even host very rude

Apartment is very tiny n not worth at any cost just point is location it's in front of station rest all is worst

Cozy and location

The location was very convenient, just across the road from Flinders Street Station.

There were construction works in front of the building making drop off inconvenient. Not suitable for visitors with heavy luggages. The sofa bed need to be replaced as it was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The springs in the middle of the bed had worn out resulting in an uneven bed.
