Flinders Street 238, CLEMENTS HOUSE at Federation Square, Melbourne, Australia

The location was fabulous. The host was brilliant and she couldn’t do enough to help us with our stay in organising or recommending travel, storage, other details. Incredibly helpful.

It’s not that we didn’t like our stay, we did. There’s no bells & whistles. What you see is what you get and it’s great.

Fantastic location and host! The host (Sue) met us at the front of the building and personally showed us around the apartment. Our stay was 6 nights and we used the kitchen facilities most days, the kitchen contained everything we needed to enjoy home cooking. The apartment whilst on the small side contained everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Step outside, you have flinders station and fed square on your doorstep. A 15 minute walk to Melbourne park for the tennis, awesomely located for walking or hop on the free tram loop across the road from the apartment building. A Woolworths Metro store is a few steps away from or a Coles located just around the corner.

Very clean and very convenient location, very close to Flinders Street train station and cafes. Bed was very comfortable. Very friendly host.

Quite noisy. Could hear street noise all night. But I guess that is to be expected. Aircon is very loud too.

A great find in the middle of Melbourne! Our host was lovely- easy to communicate with, provided plenty of information about the facilities and was very accommodating, which was all much appreciated. The place was clean, well presented and provided everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Being located opposite Flinders St Station meant we were right amongst numerous transport, food and grocery stores making the place super-convenient. Would love to come back!

The location was amazing. Perfectly situated for us to get wherever we need to go in any direction. It was very clean and our host was so friendly and helpful

Clements house was close to where l needed to attend appointments

By virtue of it not being possible, glasses & cups not able to be used. They were on the top shelves 6-7 ft above the ground AND no step ladder. Same if it turned cold extra blankets on top shelf 6-7 ft high. Sorry at my age & semi disabled l am not climbing on kitchen chairs. Bathroom rug should be rubber backed or removed. On tiled floor, it slips the moment it is stepped on. I rolled it up & left it under table. Replaced when l left. Even with 2 fans & aircon unit was muggy.

Location, size of the rooms. The overall upkeep of the apartment. Proximity to the attractions.

I felt a lack of security when we passed through the doors to enter the apartment as there were others following us and we felt insecure.

Sue's apartment is in a great location. It's quirky and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Sue maintained contact and collecting keys and checking in was easy.
